1st ODI: How India beat Australia in series opener to claim historic feat

Mohammed Shami’s crafty bowling performance was beautifully complemented by the grace and poise of Shubman Gill as India defeated Australia by five wickets in the opening ODI of the 3-match series. Shami displayed his artistry with impressive figures of 5/51 restrict Australia to 276. In reply, Gill hit a solid 63-ball 74 & added 142 for the opening stand with Ruturaj Gaikwad (71) to set the foundation for victory. India crossed the finish line with 8 balls to spare.
