Tahawwur Rana, a key accused in the terrorist attacks of Mumbai 11/26, arrived in Delhi around 6.30 pm on a special flight on Thursday after his extradition of the United States.
The NIA team confirmed their judgment after landing at the Palam Technical Airport. It was then produced before a special court in the national capital the night of Thorsday.
The NIA sought custody of 20 days of frog, whom they accused of entering a criminal conspiracy with other conspirators to execute the 26/11 terrorist attacks. The Special Court sent frog to the 18 -day custody of the NIA after listening to the arguments.
Rana, a 64 -year -old Canadian or Pakistani citizen, has been reserved with multiple positions, including criminal conspiracy, murder and violations under the ULAWFUL Activities Law (prevention).

Tahawwur Rana extradition: key event timeline
- November 26, 2008: Ten Pakistani terrorists were an uproar, carrying out coordinated terrorist attacks at the train station, two luxury hotels and a Jewish center in Mumbai, killing up to 166 people. They were placed in the country’s financial capital through the Arabic Sea and attacked for almost 60 hours.
- November 27: Ajmal Amir Kasab, the only surviving terrorist, was arrested by the Mumbai police.
- January 13, 2009: ML Tahaliaani appointed a special judge to make a trial in the case of Kasab and two Indians: Faheem Ansari and Sabaudin Ahmed.
- February 25: A sheet of charges was presented in the case, paving the way for a trial against the accused.
- OCTOBER 27: The key defendant Tahawwur Hussain Rana, a nearby associate of the main conspirators David Coleman Headley, also known as Gilani, was arrested by the Federal Research Office (FBI) of the United States.

- January 9, 2011: Rana was convicted after a three-week trial in the United States District Court and sentenced to 14 years in prison for conspiracy to provide material support to a terrorist plot in Denmark and provide material support to LASHKAR-E-TAIBAE-A. In Mumbai.
