Prime Minister Modi, who arrived in Varanasi, on Friday morning and the stones of the LID Foundation of several projects worth 3,880 million rupees in the city.

Prime Minister Modi landed in Varanasi de Uttar Pradesh on Friday, where he placed the foundations of 44 projects worth 3,880 million rupees. When heading to a demonstration in Varanasi, Prime Minister Modi said that the city is “developing rapidly in all aspects.”
“In this context, it is a great fortune for me inaugurating and sitting the foundation stone of several development projects today,” he added.
Prime Minister Modi said the new projects will improve development, adding that Varanasi witnessed mega development in the last 10 years.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated a traffic shelter in the police lines and police barracks in Ramnagar and four rural roads, according to the Divisional Commissioner of Varanasi, Kaushal Raj Sharma.
Among other projects are schemes focused on rural development, including 130 drinking water projects, 100 new Anganwadi centers, 356 libraries, a Pindra Polytechnic University and a government of government degree.

Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated projects at Shastri Ghat and Samne Ghat, together with several beautification projects carried out by the railroads and the Varanasi Development Authority (VDA).
Among the projects for which foundations have been established, 25 are valued at RS 2,250 million rupees, with a main approach in improving the city’s electricity infrastructure. This includes the 15 new substations building, the installation of new transformers and the placement of 1,500 km of new electric lines.
A new 220 kV substation will also be established near Chaukaghat, with the aim of providing an uninterrupted electricity supply of 24 hours.
The prime minister placed stones from the base for three new high steps, several projects wide on the road, school renewal and two stages in Shivpur and Up College.

Just after arriving, he recovered a detailed information session of the Police Commissioner, Division Commissioner and District Magistrate of Varanasi regarding the group rape of a 19 -year -old woman for 23 people about six days.
The prime minister also ordered officials to take strict measures against the culprits and implement appropriate measures to avoid such incidents in the future. Notable, the Police have arrested nine in relation to the 19 -year violation, while the search for another 14 against which the complaint has been filed, is still underway.
A case has been filed against 12 people named and 11 unidentified people under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), for allegedly drug and violate the woman.
