The sources indicate that Rana, who faced multiple rejections of petition that from his legal battle in the United States, has reached an agreement to have extradited to India, a strange instance of a foreign national that is extradited for a decade.

While the immediate extraordinary revelations are not expected the initial phase of the questions, the authorities said that if new revelations arise, it is likely that they only arise subsequent duration interrogation internships.

For the first time, Rana will be interrogated on Indian soil, outside the closely controlled environments where he was previously questioned abroad. Rana sent to the custody of NIA

Rana, Canadian and native citizen of Pakistan, landed in Delhi around 6.30 pm on Thursday on a special flight after extradition from the United States. He was arrested by the NIA team for his arrival and was sent to the custody of an anti -terrorism agency for 18 days by a special court.

“The NIA research team at the airport arrested Rana, a Canadian citizen of Pakistani origin who lives mainly in Chicago (USA), shortly after he left the plane, after completing all the necessary legal formalities,” said the research agency.

The girl said Rana was brought back to New Delhi by teams of the National Security Guard (NSG) and NIA, which includes senior officials, in a special G550 Jet plane from the United States.

Up to ten terrorists from Pakistan on November 26, 2008, launched a series of coordinated attacks through Mumbai, aimed at a railway station, two luxury hotels and a Jewish center after learning through the sea. The assault, which almost 60 hours, became the lives of 166 people.

It is known that Rana is a nearby associate of David Coleman Headley, also known as Daood Gilani, a key conspirator in the attacks. Headley, an American citizen, said Rana provided logistics and financial assistance to carry out the plot.

Rana faces serious charges of criminal conspiracy, warn the war against India, murder and violations under the illegal activities law (prevention).
