A young Dalit was stripped, paraded and attacked by a group of another community about an alleged love story between cases in the Sakti district of Chhattisgarh on April 9. Videos of the beating, and the injured victim is questioned by the attackers.
Three people have arrested so far, including family members of a 16 -year -old girl whose house had visited the victim, police said. The victim is being treated at the Raigarh Medical College in the neighboring district of Raigarh.
Brutal assault
According to the relatives of the 21 -year -old victim, he had visited the girl’s house in a village under the jurisdiction of Malkharoda police stations on the night of April 8 after having threatened to consume poison. He was caught by a family that, along with some neighbors, stripped him and attacked him.
