SUICIDE NAIDA: In a shocking and surprising incident, a software engineer allegedly died from suicide in a hotel room in the Naida de Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place at the Wamson Hotel in the Naida sector on Thursday. When the incident took place, her friend, who stayed with her at the hotel, was inside the bathroom, several media reported.
The deceased, identified as Umeh Kumar, 38, resident of Hathras de Uttar Pradesh, had registered the hotel along with her friend on Thursday.
The woman, resident of Mathura of UP, told the police that she found Kumar hanging from the ceiling fan when she left the bathroom. Seeing the pendant body, he shouted out loud, which alerted the hotel staff, according to the reports.
The two were also accompanied by a dog and supposedly had a fight before the man died from suicide.
According to the reports, Kumar was married, but had been living separately from his wife due to a marriage dispute. The couple also requested a divorce.
A team of officials arrived at the hotel, launching an investigation into the matter. Althegh, the police could not find any suicide note in the room. Kumar’s body was tasks in custody, and was sent for Post Mortem.
