According to the reports, around 15 people suffered food poisoning after consuming ‘Kuzhimanthi’ of a restaurant in Kanjirappally in Kottayam on Friday. The authorities said that the affected people were admitted to several hospitals to receive treatment.
According to a complaint, the department of Health made an inspection at the restaurant. The sources said that the establishment was operating in anti -hygienic conditions and that employees were working without health cards.
Since then, the authorities ordered the temporary closure of the restaurant.
