The SHIV SENA (UBT) on Saturday (April 12, 2025) said that Congress must on the status of the India block and should have addressed questions about the opposition alliance at the recent meeting of the party in Ahmedabad.

In an editorial in the party nozzle ‘Saamana‘, Sena (UBT) pointed out that Congress only talked about itself in the encounter of Ahmedabad, and India or Bharat were nowhere in the discussion.

“Questions are being asked about where the India block is after Lok Sabha’s elections. Congress needed to address this in his session of Ahmedabad,” said the editorial.

“What happened to the alliance? Was Orhish buried in the air? The responsibility for answering this question lies in the president of Congress,” he said.

The Congress held its session from April 8 to 9 in Gujarat, where it has the leg out of power for two decades. The main leaders of the Congress, including the president of Congress, Mallikarjun Kharge and opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, addressed the party workers.

The Sena (UBT) also sought to know the position of Congress for surveys of the state of Bihar, Gujarat and Western Bengal. “Or will the party welcome defeat again?” Asked.

In Bihar, the Rashtriya Janata Dal, a main partner, while in Gujarat and West Bengal, India Partners, the AAM AADMI party and the Trinamool Congress, they will also be in the fray.

“The hero of Congress his session in Gujarat, but this was not successful in Lok Sabha surveys, since the game won a position in the western state after 2014,” said Sena Ubt.

He said Congress needs to make efforts in Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. While the party successfully in Maharashtra in Lok Sabha surveys, suffered a humiliating defeat in the State Assembly surveys.

“BJP scams are as much response to this loss as the internal problems of Congress. It has to deliberate about this,” added the editorial. Congress has to take the lead in the fight against dictation, said SENA (UBT).

Referring to the surveys of the Assembly of Delhi, where the AAM AADMI (Mono) party and the Congress faced the defeat, the Sena (UBT) said that the leaders of the congress thought that the road was clear for the party in the national capital.

If Congress uses this strategy to play against Indian block partners in other states, it will only help BJP, he said. “We have to defeat the BJP and not our friends,” the party said. Sena Ubt said that an alliance between Congress and AAP would have proven beneficial.
