The Electoral Chief Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar on Saturday (April 12, 2025) said that electronic voting machines (EVM) are “safe” and “to the proof of also.”
He said that the EVMs used in India cannot be connected to the Internet, Bluetooth or infrared and anyway it is not possible to alter it.
“In India, EVMs are used for voting exercise. Legal scrutiny has EVMs bone. Evm used in India may be connected to the Internet or Bluetooth or infrared. EVMs cannot be connected to anything.
