T. Abdul Wahid (TAW) College for Women organized inaugural celebrations of school on his campus near Ambur here on Saturday.

According to a press release, T. Arumugam, Vice Chancellor of the Thiruvalluvar University, who was the main guest, emphasized the role of women’s education in the configuration of a progressive society.

Students urged to follow academic excellence and contribute significantly to the construction of the nation.

Hey, also highlighted the growing opportunities for women in several fields and the importance of empowering them through quality education.

Director Shanaz Ahaed presented the university annual report in the presence of President T. Rafeeq Ahmed. She described the institutions several academic programs, achievements and milestones.

He also highlighted the outstanding performance of the university in university exams, attributing success to the dedicated efforts of staff and students, according to the statement.
