The family members and representatives of the struggles of several people met in front of the Secretariat on Saturday in solidarity with the amazing Asha (accredited social health activists) when their agitation entered the 62nd day.

A resolution presented by the mass meeting required that the protest is a success and urged the Government to accept the demand of the ASHA and reach an agreement as soon as possible.

The resolution recalled that Ashas was the backbone of the health sector in the state. Despite the ridiculous and the insults thrown to the protest that is ongoing to find an increase in the remuneration of Ashas, ​​the stir had managed to attract national attention and only mentioned international, said the resolution.

Kerala Sahithya Akademi, K. Satchidanandan, in a video message, said both the union and state governments were responsible for the difficult situation of Ashas. They appeal to the state government at least allow at least a slight increase in their horrific so that the strike could be edited. The responses of the state government, they thought, were unfortunate, considering that it was the one that had increased their honorary in the past, said Satchidanandan.
