
The president of the Supreme Court Nitin Jamdar inaugurates the online presentation and hearing center for the permanent Adalats of Lok in Kochi.
In the state a presentation and online audience was launched for the permanent Adalats of Lok to close the justice gap, especially for marginalized communities, with the support of technology.
Lok Adalat is an alternative platform for dispute resolution through which disputes are friendly. Currently, permanent LOK adalats are heroes in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode.
The online platform, an initiative of the legal service authority of the state of Kerala (Kelsa), will help applicants to present their online cases from anywhere in the State, thus saving time, resources and effort. The installation cannot be used in the Kendras E-SEWA, as well as in the legal service authorities at the district and Taluk level, according to the organizers. The president of the Supreme Court, Nitin Jamdar, opened the installation the other day.
Kelsa also launched Athigevanam, an interventionist scheme for victims of natural disasters and Samayam, a scheme for the peaceful and friendly settlement of civil criminal matters, Casi-Civil and composes that they come through the police stations before. Samanvaya, an advice mechanism for repair disputes or marriage and domestic.
A short film, Arike was also launched, with the aim of raising awareness of domestic violence. The film is a joint business of the authority and the Government Law College, Ernakulam.
