Mehul Choksi was arrested in Belgium on Sunday. It is sought in relation to the case of fraud of the National Bank of Punjab (PNB) in India.
Mehul Choksi was declared a fugitive in January 2018, shortly before the PNB scam was public. Citing medical reasons, he fled from India for the US, whatever was established in Antigua. (IANS file photo)
While the fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi prepares to appeal against his trial in Belgium, the sources of the Indian government indicated on Monday that a team of multiple agencies will visit the country before the bail audience next week.
