Telangana Govt notifies rules for implementation of SC categorisation in public employment and educational institutions

With the provisions of the program of scheduled castes of Teangana (rationalization of reservations), 2025 in operation, the state government has notified rules for the implementation of the new law.

Reserve for three groups

Consequently, one percent of public appointments and seats for admission in educational institutions of 15% of 15% [reserved for Scheduled Castes] It will be reserved for scheduled caste sub -hosts (SC) in Group I, nine percent for sub -hosts in group I and the remaining five percent to the sub -hosts placed in group III. The Government made it clear that if any eligible candidate for the appointment of positions and admissions in educational institutes is not avializable of Group I, such positions must be full of a Group II candidate, etc.

If no eligible SC candidate (including women) belongs to the three slimers, the vacancy must have to do with the existing rules and should not be full of candidates belonging to any cone than scanned. The reserve for women in a degree of one third in public appointments and educational institutions would agree with the existing rules.

However, the rules would not be applicable for notifications/ads already issued and not completed for public service appointments or admissions in educational institutions before the beginning of the Law of the Law (Telangana), 2025). Similarly, the rules would not be applicable in cases of appointments to a position or service in any central government department or in any corporation or carried out by it, as well as educational institutions under the control of the central government.

In case of any questions or difficulty that arises to give effect to the provisions of the rules, the Government would make such provisions or give instructions, not inconsistent with the provisions of the rules, for the elimination of such difficulties.
