In the context of violence that revolved against the protests of the law against WAQF (amendment) in various places of Western Bengal, Prime Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday (April 15, 2025) said that everyone has the right to demonstrate Pacific.

While inaugurating a shirt near the famous Kali temple in Kalighat in southern Calcuta, he also asked people not to give themselves non -religious activities on behalf of religion.

“Everyone has the democratic right to organize a peaceful protest with permission. I will ask people not to take the law in their own hands. To protect the law, we have custodians and we do not need any demon,” said Banerjee.

He also urged people not to be victims of any provocation. “Please, don’t enjoy non -religious activities on behalf of religion,” he said.

Mrs. Banerjee said that some people not only criticize her because she visits programs or several religions, but also change surgery.

The violence in the Dhulian area of the Muslim majority of Murshidabad, which exploded in the protests of Friday on the modified Wakf law, charged three lives and left several wounds.

In a new violence on the same issue, supporters of the Indian Secular Front of the opposition met on Monday with the police in Bhangar in the South 24 Pargan district, which caused injuries to several people and the torch of multiple police vehicles.

“Living in peace. Bengal’s land is the land of peace. Its soil is as pure as gold,” he said.
