Kerala Film Critics Award: ‘Feminichi Fathima’ Best Film, Tovino Thomas, Nazriya Nazim and Rima Kallingal win acting honours

Feminichi FathimaDirected by Fasil Muhammed, he won the award for the best film in the 48th Kerala Film Critics Award for the year 2024. Indu Lekshmi won the award for the best director for his film Appuram. Tovino Thomas was awarded the best actor (man) for his performances in ARM and Anweshippin KandethumNazriya Nazim and Rima Kallingal shared the award for best actor (woman) for their performances in Sookshmadarshini and Theater: The myth of reality Respectively.

The president of the jury, George Opsakur, declared the awards in Thiruvanantanthapuram on Tuesday. Thekkinkad Joseph, Araavindan Vallachira, Jose K.Manuel and A.chandrasekhar were the other members of the jury. Film critic Vijayakrishnan was chosen for the Chalachitra Recnam Lifetime Achievement Award award. The writer of actors Jagadesh was awarded the Ruby Jubilee award constituted to commemorate the 40th year of the Association for his outstanding contributions to Malayalam cinema.

Sema actors, Babu Antony and Suhasini, photography director and director Vipin Mohan, producer Jubilee Joy Thomas and action choreographer Thyagarajan were selected for the prestigious Chalachitra Prathibha Awards.
