‘Ambedkar gave the country the mantra of unity in diversity’

The district administration organized the 134th anniversary of Ambedkar’s birth in Belagavi on Monday.

The attached commissioner Mohammad Roshan spoke in the celebrations, after inaugurating a procession. He said it was Dr. Ambedkar who gave the country the mantra of unity in diversity.

“The Constitution gives us the basic principles of our country, the basic values ​​of our life, the basic theory that we are all through unity in diversity,” Roshan said.

The event was organized jointly by the district administration, Zilla Panchayat, the Municipal Corporation and the Social Welfare Department in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Park of the city.

“After going through their ideas, we realize that it is not just a person but an institution. It should not be limited to a single cast.

The rationalist Bhimaputra Santosh, who was the resource person, spoke about the life and achievements of Dr. Ambedkar.

“He is the true leading leader of this country. Dr. Ambedkar cannot be found in a statue but in books. We should all read the Constitution to understand it better,” he said.

“For all of us, Babasaheb is like the heart of this country. Dr. Ambedkar was considered untouchable by society at the time. But nobody has been able to touch the levels of knowledge he reached. Creation of an equal society. It was more important for him. Santosh said.

Mayor Mangesh Pawar, ViceAlcalde Vani Vilas Joshi, the police commissioner Iada Martin Marbaniang, Superintendent or Police Bhimashankar Gardaa, the executive director of Zilla Panchayat, Rahul Shinde, the attached commissioner Vijayeria Udayakumar Talawar, community leader Mallesh Chougale and others were present.
