ISF Not Involved in Bhangar Violence, TMC To Blame: MLA Nawsad Siddique To News18

The Indian Secular Front in no way is involved in violence in Bhangar, which occurred after the disturbance in Murshidabad de Bengala, MLA of the Constitution and the head of ISF, Nawsad Siddique, told News18 in an exclusive interview.

Police have arrested nine people in relation to violence, most of which are linked to ISF.

Siddique said: “The local administration and the ruler Congress of Trinamool (TMC) wanted this violence in Bhangar on Monday.”

“When people were trying to come to Kolkata for our program against WAQF’s modified law, the police did not allow them. When they came by car, they stopped here. The suigo to walk, but were recurring to the Gothic.

Mollah, an MLA TMC and a well -known Noushad rival said the instigators were from ISF.

On Murshidabad’s violence, Siddique said he was committed to fighting WAQF law democratically.

“We are forming a group and we have also presented a petition. This is unconcentrationally, but we will never resort to violence. Police and IB should see why such an incident.

However, police sources argue that the current situation prevents them from granting permission for any anti-waqf movement in Kolkata, citing it for the reason to stop the ISF.
