Three persons killed, one injured in accident in Attupakkam

Three people were killed in a road accident on Tuesday after the two -wheeled vehicles traveling each other in Panapakkam Main Road in the Astupakkam village, near the city of Arakonam in Ranipet.

The deceased were identified as B. Vetriselvan, 23; S. Prem, 24; And N. Dineh, 24, all from the town of Venkatapuram.

The initial investigation revealed that Vetriselvan returned home, with Premity Pillion, from Sethamangelam Village. Along the way, he lost control of the vehicle and collided with the two -wheeled vehicle driven by Dineh, with K. Ranjith, 26, riding a footprint.

In the impact, Vetriselvan and Prem were thrown from their vehicles and died in the place. Ranjith and Dineh suffered serious injuries. The passersby alerted the Nemili Police, who hastened to the place along with ambulances.

The injured were transferred to a government hospital, where doctors declared Dneh dead upon arrival. Ranjith is receiving treatment. The police cited Rash driving by the accident and said the victims did not wear helmets.
