A.P. Home Minister accuses YSRCP of inciting religious tensions in State

Andhra Pradesh Interior Minister V. Anitha accused the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) or in hatching conspiracies to incite religious tensions in the state.

“The YSRCP is resorting to deceptive strategies to disturb public peace. The only objective is to promote religious confrontations. The party is executing malicious campaigns against Tirumala Tumupati devasthanams (TTD) to defame its reputation and push the image of the government,” said the minister of the home after the meeting of the state cabinet in the secretary in the secretary.

Referring to the death of Pastor Praveen Pagadala based in Hyderabad in Rajamahendravaram recently, Mrs. Anitha claimed that the YSRCP tried to use the incident to cause religious tensions.

“He thought that the pastor died in an accident, the YSRCP launched an erroneous information campaign, portraying him as a murder,” said Interior Minister.

Mrs. Anitha criticized the former president of TTD, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, saying that it is unfortunate that the person who once held that position now dragged the institution to politics.

“TTD EO J. Syamala Rao has clarified the facts about the TTD and its goshalas. Tirumala is a sacred place. YSRCP leaders are using the TTD as a focal point to carry out their teieieht ttd and malicious gets. Toleras.” He said.

TRAUPATI LADDU ROW

Referring to the controversy of Tipati Laddu, Mrs. Anitha said that SIT investigation will be completed soon and that those responsible would be punished. “Those who did wrong cannot escape. The punishment is inevitable,” he said.

The Interior Minister recalled that false propaganda extended before with respect to the pink diamond. He even thought that the archeology department said otherwise, false narratives were still doing rounds, he said.
