More Indians Buying Chinese Products Now Than 2 Years Ago, New Survey Indicates

To understand the consumer appetite for these goods, the survey asked: “If an Indian entity is associated with a Chinese brand/company and imports its products made in China to sell consumers in India, would it be acceptable to you?” From 13,431 that answered the question, 70% satiated: “No, it will not buy these products.” However, 15% of respondents declared: “Yes, we regularly bought these products and we will continue to do so”, and 15% of respondents did not give a clear response. In essence, it is not likely that 7 out of 10 Indians surveyed buy Chinese brands introduced through partners in India.
