Maharashtra Minister dismisses rumours of rift in coalition, calls disagreements ‘natural’

The main leader of the BJP and the Minister of Maharashtra, Chandrakant Patil, the Tesday (April 15, 2025) minimized discord reports within the Mahayuti governing alliance, stating that disagreements are inevitable in a coalition government committed to different differences of different various different backunds.

The comments of the BJP leader are presented in the midst of the speculation that the main vice minister, Eknath Shinde, had raised Conerns with the Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, on Part Ajit Pawar, who directs the PNC faction in the Government.

“Equally blood relatives living together have differences,” said Patil. “When people of different political origins join in a coalition, a certain friction is natural. In fact, if there is a complete silence, we should worry if the alliance is still alive.”

The minister declared that the principal minister Devendra Fadnavis and his two deputies, Mr. Shind (Shiv Sena) and Mr. Pawar (NCP), representative, representative other than political ideologies. “This diversity will inevitably create some noise, which is a real sign of a healthy and functional coalition,” he added.

According to the reports, the SHIV Sena is discorted with Mr. Fadnavis that reverts certain decisions taken by Duration of Mr. Shind as Prime Minister between June 2022 and December 2024.

The Mahayuti Alliance comprising the BJP, the SENA SHIV led by Shind and AJIT Pawar’s NCP faction won a decisive victory in the surveys of the last December assembly. However, the shared power package saw Mr. Shinde, who previously served Ash Cm, accepting an attached position of CM in the government led by Fadnavis.
