The Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party on Wednesday (April 16, 2025) claimed that Hindus are victims of selected attacks in Western Bengala and that the police gave the protesters a “free” restart, since he attacked Prime Minister Mamata Banerjee.
The State has witnessed the incidents of violence after protests against the WAQF (amendment) law, which leads to the migration of people affected by disturbances, especially in the Murshidabad district. The leader of the BJP, Ravi Shankara Prasad, assaulted Mrs. Banerjee, asking if her government has become completely inensible to basic human values.

Police have released the protesters, he claimed, adding that the victims are worried that the central forces deployed in the instructions of the License of the Superior Court of Calcutta will be attacked again.
“How low (Banerjee) will bow to Vote Bank … it is unacceptable,” he said, and cited the slogan “Maa, Mati, Manush” of the leader of the Trinamool Congress to affirm that she is worried about Neyher Maa (mothers) or Manush (people).

Prasad said that the situation in the state is a sign that the days of his government are numbered and that the BJP will continue to fight for people.
