Joint Action Committee of several Muslim associations, Congress Party, Left and others organized a protest in Vizianaram on Wednesday (April 16, 2025), opposing the amendments to the Wakf Law. JAC leaders, Shaik Mustafa, Habereb Mohammed, Prime Minister Rahamtulla and others, led the demonstration of the Ambati Satem Junction office, covering almost 4 km away, to register his protest for changes in Wakf law.
Mr. Habereb said the center had been treating Muslims as secondary grade citizens while attacking in all aspects, although they were born in India as other citizens.

In a press release, former vice president and director of Andhra Pradesh State Minories Finance Corporation, Mohammed Nasir, expected the Supreme Court to revoke the amendments and guarantee the status quo of the law.
The president of the Vizianaaram district of the Congress Party, Maripi Vidyasagar, claimed that the Narendra Modi government was pointing to minorities and opposition parties, including the Congress party systematically. He said that the party would constitute its moral support to Muslim organizations, since the center was domesticated the secular image of the country. Meanwhile, Mr. Vidayasagar and other leaders maintain protests over the Charges of the Directorate of Compliance against the leaders of the Congress Party, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
