An attempt to trafficking from subjects was frustrated at the Kanpur Central train after a man fled the train, leaving an Assam teenager in custody.

A dramatic scene was developed at the Kanpur Central train station on Tuesday night when an attempt of trafficking in aboard from Northast Express was frustrated, which caused a rapid intervention for Railway Security Junage and sent shock waves.
The incident came to light when a joint team of the Government Railway Police (GRP) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF), acting in a notice, approached the Northeast Express while preparing to start from platform number 2.
