An attempt to trafficking from subjects was frustrated at the Kanpur Central train after a man fled the train, leaving an Assam teenager in custody.

A dramatic scene was developed at the Kanpur Central train station on Tuesday night when an attempt of trafficking in aboard from Northast Express was frustrated, which caused a rapid intervention for Railway Security Junage and sent shock waves.
The incident came to light when a joint team of the Government Railway Police (GRP) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF), acting in a notice, approached the Northeast Express while preparing to start from platform number 2. The train had just begun to move when the security personnel began to interrogate the passengers traveling together, especially a young man and a teenager. When asked about his destiny, the man replied that they headed to Delhi.
