The confidence of multimillionaire Mikesh Ambani in March announced a pact with Spacex by Elon Musk to bring Starlink satellite internet services in India.

Bharti Aurtel of Tycoon from Telecom Sunil Bharti Mittal has also signed a similar association agreement with Spacex.

The meeting occurs in a crucial along with the permission for Starlink, owned by Elon Musk, is stuck for security authorization. It is also found in the context of the current negotiations for a bilateral commercial agreement between New Delhi and Washington.

The two parties have aimed to finish the first phase of the Autumn Pact (September-Sock) this year.

Meanwhile, the government has already granted the license to start rivals of Bharti rivals, backed by the group, Oneweb and Jio Satellite Communications for approximately a year and a half for providing satellite Internet services.

However, these companies have not yet begun their operation, since the government so far did not end the rules of spectrum assignment.

Starlink is a consultant to be a disruptive in this segment, since the world’s largest constellation or around 6,750 satellites operates, while Eutelsat OneB has just over 600 satellites and Jio’s satellite partners operate almost 70.

Jio and Airtel have opposed the satellite allocation rules proposed for the SATCOM spectrum.

In February of this year in Washington, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with Musk, where they discussed issues about space, mobility, technology and innovation.

At the beginning of March, Mittal pointed out the softening of Satcom’s players at the Mobile World Congress, where he made a launch for the association between telecommunications operators and Satcom players.

Within a fortnight, his company Bharti Airtel signed an association agreement with Starlink. Airstel’s rival, Jio, also signed a pact similar to the next day.

Starlink operations can only start after the company obtains a license after security authorization and the assignment of the government spectrum.

The spectrum allocation process will begin after the telecommunications regulator brought its recommendation on the subject.
