The Nanguneri student, who was under the brutal attack of his school carpets in August 2023, was attacked again Wednesday night (April 16, 2025) by unidentified people.
Police said that the 18 -year -old student from Nanguneri and his sister were pirate by their school classmates on August 9, 2023 due to the previous enmity between the child and the carpet of the school. After undergoing multiple surgeries with the help of the government of Tamil Nadu, he and his younger sister slowly recovered from the attack.

Just when he studies the first year at a Government’s help university in Palayamkottai, he came into contact with a group of young people through a social networks application for LGBTQ people. When the group of young people asked him to come to Vasantha Nagar, near the District Sciences Center on Wednesday night, it was there. He was attacked by a 5 -member corridor, who fled the place after attacking him.
After alerting his friends, he was admitted to the Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital to receive treatment.

When obtaining information, the police hurried to the place and looked for the attackers, who could not be tracked immediately.

Police suspect that the attackers could be linked to those who orchestrated the attack against the child in August 2023 or the same group involved in the previous attack.
