Sanskar Bharti, who works to promote Indian art forms, expressed a deep concern about the level of performance and the content in the stand-up and other forms of comedy in recent times. The resolution was approved in its annual hero of the Management Meeting on April 11.

“Satirical stories of popular traditions such as Theri Kutta, Tamasha, Jatra, Swang Bhandel, Nautanki, etc. or the satirical style of contemporary literature, humor in total has inspired the public towards self-introspection, support and humilization. ‘Platform to make fun of religious values, national’

He added that while this medium could be a tool for solid social reforms, it is becoming a real race for a “shortcut to fame.”

“Foot comedy is quickly becoming a platform for indecent language, religion, caste, gender insensitivity and contempt for national values. Under the disguise of freedom of expression, many artists intentionally or involuntarily gain popularity to make fun of religious symbols, [engaging in] Satirical criticism of national heroes, or mocking social practices, “said Sanskar Bharti.

He condemned foot comedy programs trying to get laughs using abusive, sexual or communal language. This trend weakens the sensitivity, tolerance and cultural respect of a young audience, warned the Cultural arm RSS.
