14 held by Chhattisgarh police for betting via Mahadev app

The Chhattisgarh police arrested 14 people from several states for allegedly acceptance bets on him in the on the on The Ons Premier League (IPL) through the application of Mahadev bets, an official said.

The Central Research Office (CBI) is already investigating the MAHADEV application scam in Chhattisgarh.

Of the 14 arrested, six resort from Chhattisgarh, three from Jharkhand, two of Madhya Pradesh and one from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the inspector General of the Raipur Range Police, said Amres Miskra on Wednesday.

Eight of them were caught from Kolkata and six from Guwahati, he said.

They were arrested according to a statement from a Nikhil Wadhwani, who was arrested on April 13, for acceptance of online bets in the IPL matches, said the official.

Police evaluated 67 mobile phones, eight laptops, four routers, 94 ATM cards, 15 SIM cards, 32 bank notebooks, three bank check books, a safety camera and registers of RS 30 Lakh bets of their lakh, he said.

The defendants were bets of acceptance through the panels of the application of mahadev bets called L95 Lotus, Lotus 651 and Lotus 656, he said.

After the sentence, the defendant told the Police that they bought the panels for prices between RS 15 Lakh and RS 25 Lakh, said the official.

“The defendant has made transactions of millions of rupees through 500 bank accounts and we will soon approach the related banks to freeze these accounts,” he said.

In the 17 cases of bets about the current IPL season, 41 people have been trapped to operate through applications, IDS, panels and links called “Gajanand App, Mr Bean, Winpro-In, Diamond999-COM, Wood777, Classic9com, Kingcombook, KingerDombumedookcomombook, APP, Gold363 Application From Mahade Panels, “Panels”, the official.

In addition, the cards have one leg written to the bank to freeze more than 1,500 accounts through which the defendant made transactions for bets, he added.
