A Muslim man has approached the Supreme Court who seeks the rights of inheritance under the law of succession of India instead of the Shariarat law. The case was tasks by the Court for the Hearing.

A Muslim man of the Supreme Court, Seijs, has been addressed, a declaration that must be governed by the Law of Succession of India instead of the Sharhat inheritance law.
According to the live law, the plea has been presented by a Naushad Kk, and was heard by a Bank of CJI Sanjiv Khanna and Judge Sanjay Kumar.
The report cited the court and said there was another similar matter, entitled Sufiya PM vs Union of India, which was pending for the hearing.
However, in the other case, the petitioner, Safiya PM, had renounced his faith, while in the present, the petitioner is a practicing Muslim.
Prashant Padmanabhan, who is the lawyer in the registration of the case of Sufiya PM, told the court that a special license petition, presented by the Sunnath Koran Society in 2016, where section 58 of the Law of Succession of India of 1925 is also the slope.
Section 58 of the Indian Succession Law excludes the Muslims from their application.
In the subject of the Prime Minister of Sufiya, the government of the Union said in October 2024 that it was for Parliament to decide whether to extend the law of succession of India to Muslims, said the report.
