Murshidabad violence: The Superior Court of Calcutta in Thorsday ordered the central forces to remain in violence beaten to Murshidabad and urged to refrain from pronouncing provocative speeches, since the district faces disturbances due to protests against WAQF passage and implementation, 2025.
A Bank of Judges Soumen Sen and Raja Basu Chowdhury also ordered the state government led by Mamata Banerje to form a team to rehabilitate the affected persons and those who were forced to flee to contiguous districts due to the violin.
Violence broke out on April 11 and 12 in Murshidabad pockets, including Suti, Dhulian and Jangipur, duration protests against the WAQF modified law. The new violence incidents shook the Bhangar area in the South 24 Parganas district on April 14, also when the police said that the situation of the law and order is under control.
At least three people died and several others were injured in violence.
17 Companies of the Central Armed Police forces (CAPF) deployed in Murshidabad on Sunday after the order of the Superior Court. Meanwhile, 23 high -ranking officers of the State Police and other agencies have been deployed in the district affected by violence. Karni Singh Shekhawat, Police General Inspector, Border Security Force, was among those present in the district. Nine BSF companies have also been deployed in the areas devastated by the fight.
Eighteen police years also hooked on the violence that exploded in the district on April 12.
In Dhulian’s mandirpa area, numerous women supposedly abused violence. Violence forced hundreds of women to flee from their homes, and many crossed the Bhagirathi River to seek refuge in the neighboring district of Malda.
