Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, Sanjay Raut, on Thursday (April 17, 2025) extended his support for the West Bengal Prime Minister, Mamata Banerje’s accusation that the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party is instigating violence in the state.
The riots broke out in Murshidabad during the protests against Waqf’s law (amendment), 2025, April 11, returning violent and claiming three lives while leaving several injured. The properties were also damaged in the clashes.
Going to a press conference, Mr. Raut said: “I completely agree with Mamata Didi. Wherever the BJP does not form a government, whether Kerala, Tamil Nadu or Bengal, try to create disturbances. This is your habit. “
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader also depended recently the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to recreate the voice of the late founder of Shiv Sena, Ball Tackeray in a rally in Nashik.
“AI technology is being used, and our country has advanced a lot. China and the United States are ahead of us. Prime Minister Narendra talks about AI. Then, if some use this technology, which is Wroguheh. Raut said.
It challenges critics, saying: “If someone asks if Balasaheb’s words were true or false, I am ready to accept if it is a lie. We can discuss it in Nashik.”
Mr. Raut also launched a scathing attack against Prime Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, labeling him as a “traitor.”
“The term ‘traitor’ was first defined by Balasaheb when Narayan Rane left the party. If we did not call those who acted to the traitors of the party, how should we call them?” Hello questioned.
In addition, he criticized the state government for reducing funds in Ladki Behan’s scheme, warning: “There will be cuts that affect women, farmers and students.”
The comments occur in the midst of growing political tensions in Western Bengal, with opposition parties accusing BJP states or destabilization not governed by BJP.
