Considering the shortage of worsening water, the Municipal Corporation (TMC) has ordered the immediate closure of all vehicle service centers in the city until June 10. The decision occurs as water levels in the city’s deposits with agency.
This precautionary step aims to conserve water and guarantee uninterrupted supply for the essential needs of households and municipal. The civic body has strictly banned the washing of all types of two -wheeled vehicles, three -wheeled vehicles, four -wheeled vehicles and a large duration of vehicles in this period. Any violation of this order will invite a strict punitive action, including fines against the service centers involved.

Vehicle washing centers, which use thousands of liters daily, have been identified as an important area where conservation is possible without affecting essential services.
The TMC has appealed to residents and companies that will cooperate and contribute to water savings efforts. The authorities have reiterated that conserving water can now avoid a much greater crisis in the near future. By enforcing thesis restrictions, the administration expects to administer existing water reserves and avoid a situation in which more drastic measures may be necessary.
