A team from the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Friday (April 18, 2025) arrived at the West Bengal cursus to meet people who have refuge tasks in refugee fields after fleeing violence of violence or the district of Murshidabad.

The Commission said Tuesday that it has decided to send a team to conduct investigation into incidents, consulting the severity of the situation.
The NHRC action is produced after the reception of a formal complaint about vilipendia and the alleged violations of human ristrigids in the affected areas.

According to the officials, three people died the duration of the violent clashes that exploded in the areas of Muslim majority of Shamherganj, Suti, Dhulian and Jangipur in the Murshidabad district. Many residents, fearing for their lives, fled from their homes and toks in the camps established in the neighboring district of Malda.
Violence occurred in the midst of generalized protests against the recent amendments of the central government to the WAQF law.
The NHRC has ordered that a detailed consultation report be presented within three weeks.
