Hyderabad’s Tarnaka junction reopened on trial basis, sees low traffic flow on Good Friday

The first day of the reopening of the union under the high step of Tarnaka saw a relatively low traffic and a soft giving in the turns in a key, due to the holidays on Good Friday. Vehicles of the University of Osmania can now move towards Lalapet and turn right to Habsiguda. Similarly, Lalapet’s traffic can proceed directly to university and take a mettuguda right turn.

The officials observed a slight congestion near the U -rotating points, particularly around the Huda and Iriset complex. “U turns are carrying some decelerations, but it is an administration management for now. We will observe the situation and adjust the traffic flow if necessary,” added a traffic agent.

Traffic agreements will remain in force until May 2 as part of a test test to evaluate the viability of reopening the union permanently. Travelers have been urged to follow the signage, adhere to the directives and cooperation with traffic staff during the period. “Department on the congestion level observed the duration of the trial, there is the possibility that the union can be closed again,” said an officer.
