The National Secretary of BJP, Arvind Menon, has insisted that Waqf’s law (amendment) should not be built as a dispute between Hindus and Muslims, and was aimed at bringing so necessary transparency in the management of WAQF properties.

When addressing an awareness program on the law, organized by the BJP here on Friday, Mr. Menon said the amendments were necessary for better protection of WAQF properties, since otherwise 3% of the minority community are misused.

A large majority of the Muslims were looking hel for as valuable properties. However, as anticipated, opposition parties were deliberate attributing reasons for the BJP. The NDA government led by BJP took the bold step to make the required amendments, and the results would be seen sooner rather than later.

The president of the state of BJP, Dagggubati Purandeswari, clarified that the Supreme Court ordered that the amendments are not applied to the recognized properties of WAQF, and the existing law was not repealed.

She refuted the statement that the amendments intended to end up with the affairs of the Waqf meetings, and it was coined that the central government had absolutely no role in the WAQF property administration.

BJP Minority Morcha State President SK. Baji, the state media in charge of the media Paturi Nagabhushanam, state spokesman Valluru Jayaprakash and others were present.
