The officials are making arrangements prepared for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Andhra Pradesh on May 2. It will begin the construction work of the capital amaravati, in Velagapudi in the district of Guntur.
Protocol staff, police, income and other departments visited the place, near the Secretariat, where Mr. Modi would participate in a program.
Police intensified security in the capital’s region, and in the districts of NTR, Krishna and Guntur.
The authorities were prepared to carry out the program in approximately 300 acres, and arrangements were being made for the VIP gallery, parking spaces, public seats, drinking water, bathrooms and other facilities.
Meanwhile, the state government issued an order that constitutes an organizing committee with six ministers to take care of the agreements. The Ministers P. Narayana, Nara Lokesh, Payyavula Keshav, Y. Satya Kumar Yadav, Nadendla Manohar and Kollu Ravindra would monitor the arrangements.
The Commissioner (Health and Family Welfare) G. Verapanian was appointed Nodal Officer for the Stone Posts Program, according to the Order.
