Welcome to another edition of My Take 5, its weekly international news wrapping. The Ukraine War remains in flow, Trump is pointing to Chinese ships, Pakistan and Bangladesh celebrate conversations of foreign relations secretaries, Saudi Arabia and Qatar return to the boxing of the shadow, and Pope Francis dies. So let’s do it.

Ukraine war in flow: The war in Ukraine saw many developments disconnected during the past week, none of which brings us closer to a high fire or a peace agreement. First, two Chinese nationals were captured in the fight of Donetsk Oblast of Ukraine by Russia. President Zenskyy then revealed that kyiv had information that more than 150 Chinese citizens are fighting for Russia in the war. Beijing, or course, has denied any official participation. But it is not clear if Beijing did not have any list in Chinese citizens who join the Russian army. After all, China has massively helped Russia in this war in supporting the Moscow military-industrial complex, freely exporting dual use technology and obtaining the Russian Army the critical components of Western technology that I needed without going through sanctions. Therefore, one would not be surprised if the United China United Front Labor Department would somehow facilitate the thesis of Chinese citizens to join the Russian army.
