A 30 -minute blackout trial was carried out in the Ferozepur Acantonation area in Punjab on Sunday (May 4, 2025) at night in the middle of HEPED tension between India and Pakistan after the terrorist attack of April 22 in Pahalgam.
The driver’s drill was taken to the border city from 9 pm to 9.30 pm, authorities said.
All the lights went out in the area after a siren came out at 9 pm, they said.

Previously, the Ferozepur Acantonation Board wrote to the Deputy Deepshikha Sharma commissioner about carrying out the Brugon Simulation.

Meanwhile, Dig Harmanbir Gill said the police are closely monitoring all the antisocial, criminals and smugglers known in the area.
Surveillance has been increased in toll barriers to track the movement of the vehicle, while social networks are also under surveillance, the excavation said.
The Border Security Force (BSF) has intensified patrol along the international border, while Punjab police have established control points in all strategic places as a precautionary measure.
