Jio Financial Services to be excluded from NSE indices from September 7

Jio Financial Services, the demerged unit of Reliance Industries, will be removed from various indices of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) from September 7. This comes after Jio Financial did not meet the price band on two consecutive trading days. The exclusion will apply to indices such as Nifty 50, Nifty 100, Nifty 200, and Nifty 500. Jio Financial was listed on the stock exchanges on August 21 after its spin-off from Reliance Industries.
