‘Oil India plans net zero by 2040, to invest $2 billion in projects’

Oil India Ltd, a state-run energy company, plans to invest 165 billion rupees ($1.98 billion) in clean energy projects as part of its goal to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040. This investment is part of a larger plan by six state-run energy companies in India to invest a total of 6.38 trillion rupees in reducing emissions.
