Vasudha Dinodia Munjal, the eldest daughter of Dr. Pawan Munjal, chairman and CEO of Hero MotoCorp, and Aniesha Munjal, was born and reared in an entrepreneurial household. She certainly inherited her father’s enthusiasm and business savvy. She founded Choko la in 2005 with the intention of bringing premium chocolates of the highest quality and exquisite craftsmanship to India. Since then, she has used her business acumen and financial savvy to establish Choko la as a leading name in the luxury chocolate industry worldwide.
What began as a single café business in Delhi’s Vasant Vihar has grown into a leading global manufacturer of luxury chocolates. Following Covid, the company developed a significant online presence in India, the US, and Europe through both direct sales channels and through partners like Amazon.
Over the next three years, Choko la plans to open locations in London, Berlin, Paris, Dubai, and the Philippines in order to further expand its global presence. By 2025, the brand will be growing across North America and Europe after making its recent launch in the US with Amazon Global. Munjal also intends to establish boutiques across Western Europe, West Asia, North America, and Australasia as part of the Choko la expansion in the upcoming years.
