With the new AADHAR application, users will no longer need to carry a physical card of AADHAAR or deliver photocopies of you by turning trips, check-ins or even purchases.

Aadhaar verification can now be done simply by scanning a QR code, as well as making a UPI payment.
The minister of the Union, Ashwini Vaishnaw, launched the long -awaited AADHAAR application on Tuesday to make it more accessible and safe. The new application combines the authentication of identification and artificial intelligence (AI) to bring the digital service AADHAAR to Indian citizens through a mobile application.

The application was built in collaboration with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). The application has an instantaneous verification based on QR code and a real -time facial identification for authentication. This will eliminate the need for people to carry photocopies or physical cards.
“Now, with just one touch, users can only share the necessary data, giving them complete control over their personal information,” said Vaishnaw. The new AADHAAR application (in beta) is currently in its test phase.
