The world has progressed significantly, but in some areas, people still fight for basic facilities. In the Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh, local residents have built a wooden bridge over the Gagan River near the Malkadda village due to the absence of a permanent structure.

People are forced to cross this improvised bridge every day, risking their lives. For years, the locals have one leg demanding a lasting bridge here, but their continuous calls will be ignored.

The accident could happen at any time

This temporary wood bridge is located in the town of Malkadda, in the Majhola area of ​​the Kanth Assembly Constitution. It was built by the villagers themselves, since the people of several nearby villages trust it.
