A meeting broke out between the security forces and the terrorists in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Cashmiro on Wednesday.
Additional forces were transferred to the Marta de Ramnagar area after it was reported there.
It was believed that almost three terrorists were trapped.
This occurs a week after an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Kathua was reported.
In a separate incident, an important tragedy, avoided after the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, Kupwara detected and deactivated a powerful improvised explosive device (FDI) on Wednesday.
The device was found in the town of Villgam in the territory of the Union.
According to the details, the opening party of the road (ROP) of the 2 Rajput regiment saw a suspicious object along a road while a routine patrol in the area was underway.
The FDI, which weighed almost 8 kilograms, was deactivated by the pump removal squad.
On April 6, Kupwara security forces had regained weapons and ammunition from a forest area.
The recoveries included a machine gun, seven hand grenades, 90 cartridges, a binocular made in China, two mobile loaders with solar energy, clothing and a sleeping bag of foreign origin.
