The Department of Intermediate Education of Telangana on Wednesday (April 9, 2025) launched ‘Project serve’, a special initiative aimed at improving the quality of education in all junior and vocational universities of the government through the online platform.
The program is organized with the Association of the EK STEP Foundation and the first session was delivered by the Coordinator of the Gopal Subramaniyam project, the communication skills master Vara Prasad, and included students from two government universities in the city. Mr. Vara Prasad showed students with ideas about effective communication and interview skills.
According to the director of Intermediate Education Krishna Aditya, the gradual deployment of digital education will address key challenges, such as the scarcity of faculty, skills gaps and dropout rates in universities. To guarantee uninterrupted education for universities with limited faculty, a shared digital platform will transmit lessons. This will allow students to benefit from high quality learning resources without interruptions, according to a press release.
In the pilot phase, the program will be implemented in Vocational Government Junior College, Nampally and Government Junior College, Chachalguda.
Besids, all universities have received instructions to carry out a comprehensive 21 -day development program centered on assistance, attention, respect, innovation, discipline and diction, to improve the student’s success rate.
