Interior Minister Amit Shah, refused Wednesday to comment if the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party will form an alliance in the next Punjab elections. In a conversation with the editor-in-chief of the Network18 Group Rahul Joshi at the CNN-News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2025 on Wednesday, Shah said he expected the people of Punjab Wolde to make a wise decision and vote for a majority government.
Shah commented with humor that even Brahma, the creator of the earth, could not predict the future of Punjab elections. However, the hope expressed that by when the elections occur, the people of Punjab make a wise decision and choose a majority government.
When asked about the emergence of Khanistani activities in the country, Amit Shah Emhased that, although the Punjab government has a main response, it is also the duty of the Indian Government to ensure that this no one is the steates. “The BJP government will not tolerate any action against the country and is committed to silence the disruptive elements of the thesis,” Shah said.
