The Aiadmk would pay tribute throughout the headquarters of the District to the students, who had finished their lives on Neet at 6 pm on April 19, the secretary general of the Edappadi K. Palaniswami party said on Thursday.
The announcement occurred one day after the Aiadmk boycotted a meeting of legislative parties presided by Prime Minister MK Stalin who decided to intensify legal efforts to obtain an exemption from the NET scope.
“The people of Tamil Nadu have not forgotten the security of Mr. Stalin and [Deputy CM] Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin who would abolish Neet with just one firm. Since the DMK assumed the position in 2021, 22 students in Tamil Nadu have ended due to their anxiety for the neet, “said Mr. Palaniswami in a statement.
As the case moved by Aiadmk’s government before the Supreme Court against Neet, it was withdrawn by the DMK government and, since the possible case transferred was still pending before the Apex court, Mr. Palaniswami said: “It is interesting that a resolution has adopted the bone on April 9 to move a new case in the Supreme Court.”
“How many more dramas are Mr. Stalin and Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin plan to deceive Tamil Nadu’s students and parents about Neet,” Hey asked. When staying away from the meeting at the Secretariat on April 9, the former prime minister explained: “We boycott the meeting after explaining that the inefficient Mr. Stalin and Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin could not abolish Neet.”
Remembering how former Prime Minister Jayalithaa was able to obtain an exemption temporarily for NET TN between 2011 and 2016, Mr. Palaniswami also pointed out the legal steps taken by his government. But Mr. Stalin and Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin gave “false security” that they could abolish Neet with just a firm, but not being able to do it just after assuming the position, said the former CM.
