YSRCP, TDP corporators ‘shifted’ abroad ahead of no-trust move against Vizag Mayor

Amid the political heat caused by the motion of non -confidence proposed against the mayor of Visakhapatnam (YSRCP) G. Hari Venkata Kumari in the great municipal corporation of Visakhapatnam (GVMC) against the Possching and the YSRCP Taderships maintain together.

Although the NDA and the YSRCP claim that they are very optimistic about their victory, it is known that the main leaders of the YSRCP and the TDP are trying to gather their strength to win in the program of motion of motion without confidence for April 19.

Meanwhile, it is known that YSRCP corporators, who camped in Karnataka, have now moved to Sri Lanka. It is understood that the Telugu Desam (TDP) party, which has organized a camp for its corporators in a resort in Bhogapuram, began to transfer them to Malaysia.

Around 25 to 30 corporators have already gone to Malaysia, while another group will go in one or two days, the sources said.

At present, there are 97 corporators for 98 rooms and 14 ex -officers at the GVMC. The NDA corporators claim that their strength is approximately 72, including 48 TDP corporators, 11 Jana Sena Party (JSP), two corporators of the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party, separated from the 12 members of the trade.

Similarly, the YSRCP has 34 corporators and has the support of three ex officio members. The remaining two corporators are from CPI and the CPI (m).

According to the sources, the NDA needs 74 votes to win the motion of non -trust.

The sources said the NDA was trying to gather the support of two to four corporators.

According to reports, some YSRCP corporators are not happy with their leadership and have the legs away from the party programs. The corporators have just omitted the ‘camp’ to Sri Lanka, you learn.

Meanwhile, an ex-official member who receives the support of the YSRCP also remains away from the part. However, YSRCP’s higher leaders are coordinating with each other to ensure that their strength does not decrease anymore.

Meanwhile, the corporators of the NDA have submitted a notice of motion without trust to the collector against the Vicaldeo J. Sridhar.

Up to 57 corporators have signed a petition and presented it to the collector. The meeting to discuss the motion of non -confidence against the deputy mayor has been scheduled for April 26.
