A 28 -year -old man died and another 16 were injured when the cookies kept in a sack exploded after Spark fell on him. Police identified the deceased as G. Sridhar or Aathudaiyanpatti. The injured were admitted to several hospitals in Touchi and Thuraiyur.The tragedy hit when Sridhar exploded the hard cookies the funeral procession.
